Force packs

By pumpkin, in Star Wars: The Card Game

So from reading the description, these force packs are going to be pretty much exactly the same as the adventure packs for LotR TCG, triplicates of 3 cards, one for each Rebel Strategy and the rest are new encounter cards for the included mission?

Does the game have neutral cards, has that been confirmed yet?

The solo option appeals, which is why I can see FFG went co-operative again on this.

What with this, LotR and Elder Sign FFG have pretty much delivered my three biggest "I wish..." games, all in a matter of months.

Now all I want is a great solo game based on WWII, playable in under an hour!

You can! It's called "Setting up Axis and Allies While Your Friends Hang Out in the Other Room" It's a great warm up to a game of Axis and Allies.

2 cards per a strategy not one (24 cards) and no word on neutrals but it depends on how they do the resources which they haven't mentioned yet. Something about 'Rebel bases' which seem to be like heroes but Im not really sure.

I'm not sure about a specifically WW2 solo game but Id be interested in a solo war game, especially if it was a card game. Would be cool to have something that is playable by an AI and a human opponent.

The 'rebel base' is simply your starting card which shows the turn structure, your bases health, and which strategy you are using.

Well that is kind of disappointing, looking forward to seeing special bases with different powers. I missed the health when looking at the cards I figured they were helper cards similar to how the house cards in game of thrones have the steps on them. Know anything about resources that I might have missed?

Never mind found the information I was looking for.

I think a solo/cooperative WWII LCG is probably what might come out next. The reason for this is that the fantasy/sci-fi themes have really been done with their collection of current LCGs. Either WWII/Military or perhaps a Civilization sort of LCG.

Obviously no one will know until they come out with it. I personally would love a D&D based LCG theme (forgotten realms or dragonlance). Obviously that will never happen. Just dreaming.

Yes, there are neutral cards. That was mentioned either in one of the videos that have been floating around or one of the reviews. I don't recall which, but I'm sure I saw/heard it somewhere.

With two co-op LCG's having come out in a row now, I seriously doubt the next one will be the same. If there are any co-operative elements at all, I'd guess they'll do something like Rune Age and make a scenario-based game that can be co-operative depending on the scenario.

The Dust line seems to be doing pretty well, so it wouldn't surprise me if that was the next LCG theme. I know I'd be happy with a card game that included alternate WWII mech/tanks.
