I think he's talking about the lipstick on the heavy flaks.

Up close there is actually no red on the lips its all inside the mouth.

and now Op. Cerberus!

Finally! I was wondering when I'd see someone actually add some brick colour to these buildings. This looks great, man! I think that's pretty much exactly what I'll do with mine once I get it.

make sure you wash it before you prime. I had a bit of trouble just from the oils in my hands getting on them.

Wow! Prolly the best brick walls i seen so far! Great job!!

Wow the walls look great, I've been waiting for someone to paint them up to see if its worth it and it definetly seems to be. gran_risa.gif

Thanks for all the great comments everybody. In case anyone want to Know what I did here is the step by step:

  1. I washed all the pieces with warm slightly soapy water.
  2. After the pieces dried I sprayed everything with 2 coats of a light grey primer.
  3. I let the primer dry overnight.
  4. I washed everything using a mixture of black craft paint and water(I was too cheap to use my badab black on something this big.) about a 15:1 ratio gave me the darkness I wanted. I did a second coat on cracks that needed it.
  5. I Used Heavy bodied naphthol red for the brick. applied using a makeup sponge as a dry brush.
  6. for everything I used a light grey with the same method as the brick.

Haha, what a great idea. Now THAT's a Big F'ing Gun.

Dont they have MG44's already?

They are listed as having an MG 48. The MG 44 is the gun from the lothar series walkers.

You should try the pea dot pattern when you get a chance. It takes time but looks good. I did the 4 man sniper set in about 2 hours after the base colors dried. My pics are from my Iphone so they are not the best but with what you have posted I'm sure yours will look great.

I do have 3 snipers and 4 beo's left to paint so Ill try it when the some of them get up in the Que but next for me I think will be zombies and I also have a Bunch of things I have yet to take a pic of yet.

I did Sigrid a while back but I didn't have a pic to post until now anyways enjoy.

Very nice paint job. But I have to say I don't like the pattern on the Laser Pistole, it looks very "futuristic sci-fi" not "retro sci-fi", like something out of Battlestar Galactica or something.

I lkie the colours used for the uniform! And the gun reminds me of Mass Effect:D

Here is a sniper squad, I started these guys almost 6 months ago but I never got around to the faces and guns. these are the second squad I tried a camo pattern with and in my opinion my first good camo squad. also I'll have the first of 2 squads of zombies coming out of the paint shop I'm waiting till I can come up with something a bit more unique for the second so if you have any ideas for me please do tell.

Also Ill take some pics In sunlight tomarrow the lighting is a bit off.

That sniper needs a blue pill....

I think sorting out the bend in the Snipers rifle would be the first port of call (there is thread about it on this forum). I think the camo is nice, good choice of colours, although the main sticking point is you really need to thin your paints down quite a lot. Also maybe (if you can) change the position of the spotters torso, it's not a very realistic pose. Other than that, a good stealthy looking pair.
