Hoped for Supplements?

By Dulahan, in Black Crusade

Well, a bit early for a lot of people. But some of us have it from Gen con.

But what sorts of Supplements are we all hoping for now?

Me? A Traitor Legions one. With alternate CG options depending on what one of the 9 you come from (And let's just add some info for later Traitor Chapters too while we're at it)

And since the Marines get some love. Why not a Human Chosen book as well.

Here's to hoping!

I'd like an Epic rulebook. More info on running a Black Crusade or playing as a Daemon Prince would be awesome. Chaos ships would be cool, though that could much easier be a Rogue Trader supplement.

Other races, maybe? Sorcery rules? More detail on daemon rituals? More information on the Chaos realms of the Warp itself? The only thing I've read that did the Warp justice was part of the Planetkill anthology.

I haven't seen the book yet...but I think the two things I'd like would be a big book of equipment and a big book of sorcery and psychic powers.

Beyond that...maybe another 1 or 2 additional Archetypes for both types of character (SM and Human).

I'd like to see more details on the Traitor legions. Specifically the 1000 sons marines chapter. I'd also like more details on Chaos rituals. Not to mention a book on how to build/maintain a chaos reaver ship and crew.

These are the kind of stuff that I think that we'll see.

Player's handbook - with more stuff and fluff

"Monster manual" with various antagonists, and more rival Chaos followers, Xenos that oppose the Dark Gods including and beyond the Eldar and Necrons

Traitor Legions - book concerning Chaos Space Marines in detail

Some form of expansion of the Screaming Vortex - book

Ascended - a book about playing with high level characters who may have either started their transformation into daemon princes or are almost there

Why would the characters have to end as daemon princes? Not all chaos followers use daemons or sorcery, like the iron warriors. how do you explain an iron warrior becoming a daemon prince. i like he idea for an ascended supplement, though i would like it to be like dark heresy ascension, only for chaos.

Except... they do. In fact, one of the few Chaos Marine novels (Storm of Iron. Or is it Tide?) involves amongst other things, an Iron Warrior general who ascends to Daemon Prince.

In general when you're a chaos worshiper there are 3 ways to end your time as a mortal. Daemon Prince, Chaos Spawn, or Corpse.

I would like a Book on Daemons, something along the lines of Daemon Hunter for DH, just bigger and focused on daemons in the Screaming Vortex and in general.

It's already there, and it's called Battlefleet Koronus. And considering BC doesn't contain ship rules by itself, I think this is one of the things that'll require outsourcing to RT.

Which is fine by me. *pats his RT corebook*

I'm always up for more Monster Manual -type books. In the Gaunt's Ghosts novel Traitor General , Gaunt infiltrates a Chaos-held world, where there are a bunch of weird Chaos creatures- not daemons or mutants, but specific mortal races - working along side the corrupted humans. More info on stuff like that would be cool...

hi,

I would like to see a TEW style campaign for BC, where the players are the enemy within. Setting up a dastardly plot to overthrow a world or bring a sub sector to ruin through numerous smaller operations (assassination/sabotage/social reform/pollution/or even sleaze campaigns) all with a main goal in mind. The GM could have the party try to avoid/kill/misdirect an Inquisitors team of acolytes, local law enforcements or even an astartes squad in the process. With a possibility of multiple arch enemies, a rival chaos lord, aforementioned Inquisitor or even xeno adversaries such as necron or harlequin parties out to wreck the evil plot. I worry that being confined to the screaming vortex may hamper this though...

But BC isn't confined to the Vortex at all - I wonder where those rumors come from sorpresa.gif

Aye - given that the book has details on the Calixis Sector, Koronus Expanse, and the Jericho Reach... whoever thinks you're stuck in the Screaming Vortex is misguided, at best.

Excellent stuff.

Now excuse me while I execute my incompetent astropath.... gui%C3%B1o.gif
