If a charecture is immune to triggered effects would this include Ghaston Grey, Bear Iland and Cyvasse?

Yes. Why do you have a doubt?

I dont but some of the guys i play with do. ;)

Wanted a second person on my side.

Quick thing here: Remember the overall scope of immunity. Immunity to triggered effects does indeed include the effects of locations that are triggered, but, as with any immunity, not the costs, play restrictions, indirect effects, etc. So, for example, while an "immune to triggered effects" character cannot be returned to hand by Ghaston Grey, if you had a Martell Noble who was immune to triggered effects, you could still return that to your hand to pay the costs of Ghaston Grey.

Idiot questions from me but it will save much arguing somewhere down the line for my group.

I've been reading the rules and FAQ to try and establish exactly what a triggered effect is.

The FAQ lists this as 'Any ability on a card in play that begins with "Phase:" or "Response:" is a triggered ability.' So cards like bear island and robb stark (core) are obviously triggered but what about cards like guilty (core) lethal counter attack (core) and valar morghulis (core)?

While the 2 event cards have the Phase association they are 'not in play' but played out of hand and valar is resolved on reveal. Our assumption is that the event cards would not be valid but valar would be. Are we correct in this?

It stems from Joffery Baratheon from (TftRK) and our groups difficulty in ending his annoying life.

(3.6) Triggered Effects
Any effect that a player chooses to execute is
considered a "triggered effect." Thus any effect
that begins with a "Phase:" or "Response:"
is a triggered effect. Also note that playing
an event card is thus considered a triggered
effect.

Yes.
