At the moment we are (at full strength) 5 players playing with 4 houses. My mate has just rung me to say he is buying the Greyjoys or Martells. it states that either has to be played with the core set as well.

Is that just because of the board and titles or is there another reason, because whats stopping my Starks and his Grey or Mart playing a 1 on 1. without the core set stuff.

Also I read somewhere that the grayjoys are the weakest house with there expansion. Is this really true ?

Well, its pretty much standalone. You can make a deck out of just the martell or greyjoy box. I assume its referring to the titles and board that you need.

I don't know if they are the weakest box (I don't think the Targ box is all that great), but the Martell box is strong.

I personally think Martell is the strongest.

After that, its hard to say. I personally thing the targ box is strong, even for non targ.

Paper Shield, River Row, Advisor to the crown, Kingsroad fiefdom, Dissension, Alliance, Spending the Winter Stores, Loyalty Money Can Buy, Muster the Realm.

Thats just a list of the non-targ stuff. I loved the box, personally. The use of it helped me make the semi finals at worlds in melee. (just counted it. I ran 28 cards from that set)
