Hey my wife and i have recently picked up the core game and find ourselves being overwhelmed by the fact that there are soo many expansions. How can i tell what came first i just want to have a good base to go off of. If it helps i have picked (stark) and my wife grabbed (targ). thanks for the help

I'm not sure the timeline of the deluxe expansions, but it doesn't really matter anyway. You should purchase whatever sounds the most appealing to you. The chapter pack order on the catalog page matches how they were/are released chronologically. javascript:void(0);/*1312957801115*/ If you're looking for advice on what to get next, most people recommend getting a second core set, then the Martell & Greyjoy expansions, and from that point the deluxe expansions for whichever house(s) you like best. After all that, there's the wide world of chapter packs available. I would recommend either starting with the current cycle that is being released at the time, or starting at the Brotherhood Without Banners cycle and progressing from there, since all chapter packs from that cycle on forward use the 3X distribution. There are rumors that the chapter packs preceeding Brotherhood will be reprinted using the 3X later on.

I am a newish player, and the approach I took at the beginning was to pick decks I wanted to start with and to get the sets/chapter packs that I needed to build them.
