Arkham Horror Card Displays ~ Base Game + Expansions

By The Professor, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Gentlemen,

I'm sorry about the wait ~ this enterprise is truly a labor of love,as we both have our 9-5 jobs. We're both excited about the end state. I'm providing some additional measurements today, as we want to ensure that the various elements can hold the contents which meet with the following criteria:

a. ALL of the curent expansions (including those who use both versions of CotDP) AND
b. ALL of the cards are sleeved (yes, it makes a big difference in the overall length or height)

We hope to have the "Great Old One Display" and the "Investigator's Kit" very soon.

Why do I have a feeling I'm going to be upset when it's gorgeous and I can't afford it? ;')

People have kidneys. Kidneys are worth money. I'll let you figure out the rest.

Avi and Arkhamresident,

Well, besides giving me a very good partido_risa.gif at 5:30 in the morning, I have to say that while the price point may stave off most purchasers from buying the whole lot at once, it's as modular as the expansions themselves.

So...save up our kidneys, then?

My idea is better ;') Well, for me.

Arkhamites,

I'm in Philadelphia this weekend to a.) enjoy the Renaissance Faire in Lancaster, PA and b.) drop-off a sizable check to Master Sculptor for supplies. He's currently engaged, as the lead set designer, on a childrens' television program. While we're moving along at a slower pace than I had hoped, I'm excited to move this project forward...both for my personal interest and to those in the broader community who truly enjoy this game.

Ooooh ooooh bring me a cheesesteak! The sandwiches in Georgia suck...

arkhamresident,

So, you're from the Delaware Valley? I'm sure if you've had a cheese steak from the Philly area, you do miss them. corazon.gif

The Professor

Yeah, I grew up in Bucks County PA and moved to GA 11 years ago.

I was in Willow Grove last week for a conference at the Joint Air Facility (formerly Willow Grove Air Station). Small world...

I had to drive through DE and PA recently (Phila area) to get to and from NYC. I think I've had my fill for the summer.

had your fill of . . . Philly or cheese steaks (or both partido_risa.gif)

Arkhamites,

Master Sculptor has completed a business card holder sized display for review. The pictures, available at BGG on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. EST, will truly showcase the high level of detail needed to capture the malignant mind of the macabre...

While nearly two dozen Arkhamites have shown interest, one shall be chosen to receive an added benefit with their purchase...

The Professor

Arkhamites,

I've placed the latest information at BGG and shall have the pictures uploaded momentarily. Thank you for your patience.

The Professor

Arkhamites,

If anyone has any suggestions on how to post the pictures here, I'll do so, as well. When I've selected the Insert/Edit Image button, it asks for a URL. I simply want to copy a select number of pictures for viewing, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Wile over a dozen folks have already asked for the pics, it would make it easier for a much larger group to view if available in the forum

Thanks in advance.

The Professor

Add the pics one by one to a post, adding the url for each one, or type in a link to a webpage with them all on (if you have posted them somewhere else).

Using some dark magicks I astrally projected to The Professor's location and lifted these pics from his grey matter. I hope you don't mind Prof!

arkhamresident,

Despite your use of the dark arts, you're a saint! Thanks for all of your assistance in getting these posted for all of the other Arkhamites.

Cheers,

The Professor

I can't figure out how large those are. What sort of cards were supposed to go in those displays?

Avi,

Thanks for the inquiry ~ this is a "sample" piece for the artist to work with the materials. This piece would hold, standing-up or laying down, business cards.

The Professor

I hope to make it out to this year's Arkham Nights and meet many of my fellow Arkhamites!

If I get my matter-relocator machine working I'll join you. Just a few kinks to work out and an inside-out baboon to clean up first.

Kinks shminks. The machine is fine, it'll work, it's the baboon that's wrong. Proceed to human experimentation!
