Hello everyone! My name is Don Tsuchiyama and I live in Los Angeles. I played AGoT back in the "old days" before it became an LCG, but am getting back in. I'm still in touch with John Bruno and I know he can fill me in on info. I am bringing some others with me, two friends in San Diego, CA and, possibly, a larger group (maybe as many as 8) of new players in Las Vegas! One of the LV guys is an excellent Tournament Organizer for another game that we play and we're thinking about trying to put an event together in Las Vegas this fall.

Are there any players currently in Las Vegas? I have been told there's a good group in San Diego, but not here in L.A. How would I get in touch with the San Diego TO?

And a game question... I bought the starter core box at Gencon and used to play a Baratheon power blitz deck, but I'm curious about the Martells. What expansions should I get?

Princes of the sun (revised edition). There are few databases you can check existing cards (look at support page ). There is also one in my signature.

I use cardgamedb.com, but there are several sites that people use depending on their needs/preferences. Another series of cards that will be useful to you is the King's Landing chapter packs, which I *think* are being reprinted in 3x form soonish. They contain several useful cards for Martell, but especially Venomous Blade.

Wow, the SoCal metas are really taking off. I wish we had some growth in ours.

I am planning a trip to Vegas around Halloween this Fall. I'd love to get into a decent sized AGoT tourney while on vacation!! The friend I'm meeting out there also plays (He's in LA for school at USC - we're both from Maryland).

Glad to hear you're getting back into things! DeathJester26 and I organize the SD events... you can email agotsocal@ gmail.com to get in touch with us. Mathlete is probably still the go-to guy for LA although with our large player base we tend to hold more events down in SD.

With enough advance notice, I'm pretty sure we can get at least 5 or 6 from SD and a few more from LA to go to Vegas. Cha0s and some of the other NorCal gang would probably be willing to go too. A thrones tourney during the day and Vegas nightlife sounds pretty dang awesome to me!

Dropped a quick $100 at my FLGS today... KotS expansion and seven chapter packs...

Yeah, we'll be in Vegas the 29th and 30th. A third friend has just started playing and dropped $200 on extra cores and chapter packs this week. He was already committed to the Vegas trip, so that makes 3 of us from Baltimore that would play that weekend.

I've let Chris know about this post floating around, he's going to make an account and work on cooking up a tournament.

FYI, looks like he will have it before 29th weekend. Just a heads up.

Hey all, I was a tournament organizer for another CCG in the area before the group decided to bail on the card game (disagreements with the publisher's way of doing things).

Anyway, there's about 9 of us that play the card game in Vegas now, and going to be working on getting more involved. I'm going to talk to the gaming store we do business with about the dates I have in mind, which will be October 22nd and 23rd. But I'm sure that a few of us would still get together the weekend of Halloween and play some cards.

Once I talk to the manager of the store, I'll post definite details, and start work on securing some prize support for the events. I'll be hosting a melee and a joust tournament for sure.

Hmm.... for the last couple years I've gone to Vegas in October for my birthday. There might be a chance that I could make part of this....
