The classic event went pretty well for a sunday event. We had 8 players for it, which is not that bad for a sunday event (the AGOT Hand of the King Event only had like 3 or 4). This format was fun and different, though certainly some races have pretty major advantages.
I didnt spend as much time on my list for this as I probably should have so I played it at 52 cards because I wasnt sure what to cut. (After playing the event I'd say that the Banishes were probably the worst card, though they were useful sometimes) I think this needed one more x3 support card in it instead of one of the units, flames was often worse for me than my opponent. This deck actually worked decently, its biggest issue was the total lack of support removal (other than attachments) and the general problem that HE have with unit elimination:
3 - Loremaster of Hoeth
3 - Dreamer of Dragons (was even better in this format, some races couldnt remove him on turn one)
3 - Envoy from Averlorn
3 - Descendant of Indraugnir
2 - Keeper of the Flame (this guy was studly against DE as you might expect)
3 - True Mage
3 - Bladelord
3 - White Lion Vanguard
3 - Lelansi
2 - White Tower Aspirant (was critical against dwarves)
3 - Judgement of Loec
3 - Dragon Mage Wakening
3 - Outpost of Tiranoc
3 - Citadel of Dusk
3 - Elven Warship
3 - Charge of the Silver Helms
2 - Banish (not great, but I wanted an extra removal)
2 - Shield of Saphery
3 - Flames of the Phoenix
