True, but they are in contact with said printer and distributors and would likely have an estimated time for the 'street date' at least.
They do: August/2011

Well personally, they need to print this **** in the United States and put US workers to work, screw the overseas ****. On top of that, what would stop that crap would be large tariffs on imports from overseas, Get Americans back to work! This would also cut down on your wait time.

Are we getting a bit political here perhaps?
And it would also increase the price of the books. I think they'e too expensive already, I ain't paying any bloody more for them.
Keep doing what your doing, FFG. If we have to wait we have to wait. Not as if the world will end if we don't get them soon (and if it did then release dates wouldn't matter anyway would they? )
Some people really need to get their priorities sorted.
Sorry but I have too many relatives outta work as it is, mainly because of the BS that companies like FFG are doing by overseas production, when this stuff could have easily of been produced right here. May be a bit political, I just calls it as I see's it.

Yeah, you do or haven't you lost your job yet?
It was... erm... a joke... y'know... smily's and such?
Seems some people also need to get their sense of humour sorted
I believe they are waiting on something. Usually when I have talked with them in the past they would tell you if it was in the warehouse yet or when they thought they would get it in. Now the response is they cannot say. This leads me to believe that they are waiting for approval of the product schedule or something. I thought it might have been an IP issue but the other lines have all announced new products. So I do think they are waiting for approval of the product schedule or something. Also the collectors edition has not been announced which was strange to me. Last year the Deathwatch one was announced at Gen Con.
Another thing might be that they are simply waiting for September to come which may allow the sales to effect profits for a given quarter ect.
Amazon street dates for FFG stuff is usually not accurate. They do good with D&D and Pathfinder but not FFG.

What about publishing it in the UK? Bloody GW put a lot of Brits out of jobs by selling the licence to a bunch of septic tanks. For the sake of all that is holy, blame the sh*tty state of your economy on the banks like everyone else, not minority games companies. Why not write a letter to Obama, he may be the only person on earth who can get you Black Crusade faster.
p.s. When you write BS it is still swearing.
Now now, children - why don't we all just sit down and relax? It's a **** game, you shouldn't be getting this worked up about it.
Hell, I'm a graduate with a degree in each of Politics and Law, and if I can manage to not post about "our economy is rubbish, and THEY TOOK OUR JEEEERBS!" (I love South Park! ), I'm pretty sure everyone else can too.
This forum isn't the place for it, so if you could take political or nationalistic rants elsewhere, it'd be appreciated.
Anyways - On Topic for a moment! I've heard that it is meant to be getting into the UK either for the 6th September, or the 13th.
" my friend was using my computer and just ranted, so im gonna say sry... hes a tad bit retarded. so if ppl r offened, chill out. once again, sry 4 my retarded friend "

You know that point when you realize you've crossed a common sense line and gone right into frothing insanity, over a game, and it becomes a slightly unhealthy obsession? Yup, this is it.
It's ok though because usually I'm that retarded ranting friend.

I hope that you weren't trying to patronise me, as I was writing ironically. I don't put smileys in my text to flag up when I am placing my tongue in my cheek. I respect your posts by the way, and am generally interested in what you have to say about the game(s). I have a degree in philosophy on the one hand, but run my own building company on the other so I come across right wing views on a regular basis- some more extreme than others, all should be challenged.

There's a big difference between "It's been printed" and "it's in the shops".
The small quantity that was sold at GenCon was flown in from the printers at additional cost in order to guarantee that there was a supply for GenCon - those copies are the exception, not the rule. The rest of the books are shipped back from the printers, in a process that takes a not inconsiderable amount of time... after which, it has to be moved to the many distributors around the world, who in turn have to ship it to local stores and so forth.
At which point, we get issues with distributors. In the month or so after GenCon, there are a disproportionate number of new products (made available at GenCon in limited quantities) being sold by so many different companies that distributors and stores alike have choices to make - the average local gaming store can only contain so much stock at once (with excess stock taking up space and contributing only to the store's expenditures), and the average distributor can only shift so much stock at one time, so a degree of delay is inevitable every year after GenCon, while issues such as these are muddled through and sorted out for another year.
I'm sticking with my argument of priorities. At the end of the day, it's just a book for gods sake. It's not as if we're waiting for the cure for cancer, an end to all war, or a solution to world poverty (although if you ask the Chaos Gods I'm sure they can help with one or two of those.... probably not the "end to war" part though)
Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!!!
...ahem... erm.... sorry.
Why do people even still use Amazon for books? They are far from the cheapest site out there, and there deliveries are so tardy and often don't show up.
Oh and don't get me started on their automated system that guesstimates release dates if a publisher doesn't let them know otherwise.
RPGs through Amazon is like buying a sausage roll from a street vendor... you'll get your roll, but you can't be sure it's legit or when it's going to come back and bite you in ass.
Go gameslore.co.uk if you are in the UK for swift delivery and legit launch dates.
I use Gameslore for almost every RPG purchase. I've had BC on pre-order with them for the past few weeks.
I can't recommend them enough!
Leisure Games too, though their prices are a bit hit and miss. Gameslore tends to be cheaper for the majority of stuff.

Cool stuff! I'll keep that in mind when I pop down to pick up my copy tomorrow.... oh wait....
I'd like to direct everyone's eyes to the last post that FFG made about it being available at GenCon in their announcements for BC. I figured it would get their attention sooner than the forums. Apparently not.
It was actually supposed to be a little bit on the hilarious side and mocking FFGs promises. I hope you all enjoy it.
Any word yet? Unconfirmed rumours? A friend heard from a friend that BC isn't actually coming out, it was just an elaborate hoax meant to mess with FFG customers minds?
The UK is meant to have it on the 13th September or the 20th September, according to the customer service guy from Esdevium Games (the biggest RPG distributor in the UK) I spoke to on the phone

I often use Amazon, for books. They usually are the cheapest & most reliable option. & their Customer Service is tops.

*isn't sure if you are being sarcastic or not... because for RPGs, at least, Amazon is pathetic, as is their customer service (when they removed a product I pre-ordered from sale, and then put it back up, at a higher price, and because it was a 'new product listing', they refused to give it me for the lower price, as per their terms and conditions*
A thousand times echoing what Millandson just said, Amazon have one of the worst customer services i've ever come across, and working in customer service myself i am highly critical of them all.
I know there's a lot of anticipation for this product, self included, but has there been any solid update in reality? I know that for a while there Black Crusade was on the front page of FFG, now it's not, and the upcoming pane only describes it as being on a boat. I'm not going to give in to alarmist behavior (Really, it's not a scam kids, that would be stupid), and I'm not feeding trolls. I'd just like to know so I can stop putting money aside.
