Yeah! Looking forward to those Clansmen. Still about 4 months away though
nevermind, fatmouse got it
Sweet!!! BTW, were those boxes empty?
I don't know, but I'd imagine they were. Also, if anyone can teach more how to rotate images here, that would be cool
Thanks very much for the info and the pic!
So what are we expecting from it? Clansmen already seemed quite covered in the Brotherhood Cycle, but I'm only new at this... Was there much left lacking?
I imagine House Clegane and the Bloody Mummers should have more of a presence. In so far as I've seen, Gregor Clegane has yet to make an appearance, right?

Yeah, no Gregor in the LCG as of yet. So I'm really expecting to see him in the box. Some Bloody Mummers is another possibility. Looking at the other House expansions, we should also see new versions of the main cast: Cersei, Jaime, Tyrion, Tywin. Maybe we'll finally get a Kevan as well.
Definitely something to go on the Christmas list - how confusing might this get with it being abbreviated to LotR, though?
Isn't Gregor supposed to be in A Song of Champions? Not that that should stop FFG from putting another version of him in the Lannister expansion. They did the same thing with Dany and with Mel.
What would be the diffrence? Gregar the mad butcher and Gregor even more bad butcher?

You could have one Ser Gregor Clegane and one The Mountain That Rides, because both make for cool titles
Did anyone look at the back of the box and see some spoilers? Aaaargh I'm so wanting this and to know what's in it!
"Christmas 2011" is kinda bad news since i was hoping to see this long awaited expansion in october, like the Baratheon Box last year. This would also make 6 months after last box (Targaryen). Endly, it would be soooo great to have it legal for Castle Stahleck (especially after the poor results for House Lannister at worlds). So I'm hoping FFG will put this expansion forward by a few weeks (or let Christmas happen in october!).

Probably no worse than the confusion with KoTS and KoTS...

The silly thing is I can never remember what the S stands for in PotS... and I even own the flippin' box!
I still think they missed the boat.
Martell-Prince of
Greyjoy-Kings of
Stark-Lords of
Bara- Kings of
Targ-Queen of
And then Lanni is Lions of?!? Does that even make sense? I know it's not that big of a deal and it's probably just my OCD kicking in, but why is Lanni the only one with their animal in the title? Plus as we said earlier Lords of the Rock sounds like an 80's metal band and that's just awesome.

I think it's the best possible title for the expansion, given the alternatives. Lords of the Rock sounds kind of awkward (aside from the 80s metal band connotation). Kings doesn't make sense. So Lions strikes me as perfect.

~I'm pretty sure the S stands for Syphilis.
Is it too early to complain about the cards in this expansion and agitate for bannings/erratas? Don't want to leave that til the last minute because things get busy around the holidays.

Why Ser Gregor Clegane?
Why not just "The Mountain" or the "The Mountain that Rides" just like his brother: "The Hound".
Regarding the names on the box, we can assume the other boxes to follow will assume a similar animalistic disposition?
eg: Krakens of Ironblood or Vipers in the Sun?

Snakes on a Plain?

Why not, I ask you? It's his name after all, and I think it has a nice ring to it. Also, he is much more often refered to by his actual name than his brother is. That being said, I wouldn't mind a Sandor Clegane card either.

Well, the Lannister box is the last of the expansion (assuming they don't start a new cycle), so the speculation is moot. Also, some of the other animals would make for rather poor titles. Stags of the Storm?
