Cards for unit references

By Fred34, in Tide of Iron

Hi,

I created cards the units because of the operation cards like Panzer IV ausf E or T-34/85. I think this is the best way to modify unit features. You can also create new possibilities like :

  • Create new cards such as M38 Tanks with the M10 figurine. M38 and M10 had a very similar look.
  • Play with T-34/76 and T-34/85 simultaneously by using victory points or proper tokens to identify one of the two units. Put a victory point on the approciate card too.

Here is a photo.

What do you think about that ? IMG_0622_DxO.thumb.jpg

By another way, I translate all cards and reference in French and create them on business cards format, easy to print. If somebody wants my Visio files for other languages, ask me.

Bye.

Great, they look better than my first attempts.

Sometimes I wish I was an artist so that I could do similar things myself.

The ref sheet is nice when you have all things on one sheet. However, cards is definitvely an easy option when things start to get messy.

Nice Work!

For those interested, I'm still working towards a set for publication.

i hope he meant the M-36 which looks like the M-10. yes the cards look real good.

Hi,

Yes you've right Bjaffe01, I mean M36 of course.

If somebody wants to see the cards in details, please click on the link bellow to dowload files, but, I'm sorry it's in French :

The "Telecharger" button is for download. The first one is for A4 reference Sheet but I didn't work on the look. The second "Telecharger" button is the the unit cards ("Cartes unités" in French). If somebody is interesting to translate them in another language, I can give the Microsoft Visio files. Just ask me.

Just an information : "Aube d'Acier" is the french title of the game Tide of Iron.

Well, I speak both French and English. I can take a stab at it.
