Congrats to Tom.... Again

By Hellfury, in CoC General Discussion

So, yes I am from Germany (though I flew over Amsterdam and attended the regional this year there as well...). My real name is Ulrich Hergl.

I can recommend travelling for a tournament a lot. I think the Amsterdam experience enhanced my performance at Gen Con. And Gen Con, well... it really i s special to meet the designer of one of your most favourite games.

And also meeting and playing Jim Black twice in the tournament almost justified the trip to Gen Con by itself. You seldom play in an important tournament game and have such a good time while doing so at the same time.

I think it would be nice to give our decks to the community so I started another thread for this: javascript:void(0);/*1313054393505*/

Good to hear from you.

At the very least, you did make Tom sweat. That's a win in my book. :)

I thought FFG would publish the top 4 decks at the World Tournament (not sure when though), or are you asking for everyone's deck that participated in the tournament, regardless of standing?

Hey! Ulrich!

Major props on taking 2nd. Hell of a showing if you ask me. If I'm not mistaken you climbed pretty high in AGOT as well. I'm only going off the FFG gen con videos, but if its true good job bud!

As I've said before, you're a hell of player and hope one day we can get in more of a friendly game where you're not trying to make my mind explode! lol.

Despite the expense, I still hope to see you next year... or perhaps I'll see you over there sometime! Man... I'd love to go. Blah... I need more free time and money! And a passport aparently... fairly sure the one i do have is no longer good. hmm...should probably check on that.

In any case, good to see you. :)
