What's your phone number man? I was looking for you yesterday at the Warm-up tourney. Only thing you gave me to go on was that you were very tall and large. I'm staying like 5 miles away from the convention center.

Word is the warm-up tourney has been won by Ulrich (mischraum.de). Any reports?

A little bit late to be responding to this maybe but for those who are interested... there weren't many players for warmup, but the winner had a pretty decent deck. I get the impression a lot of people were playing unusual builds or testing ideas so see how competitive they were; we only played 3 rounds before the cut so I don't know the specifics of most decks. I played against Ulrich (if that is the right name), a GJ Raiding/NW deck running all three Agendas that raided 19 cards off my deck in one round and 20 cards off it a few rounds later, and a Dothraki Army deck. I ran a Targ Heir Shadows burn deck making no M challenges.

Were there any noteworthy prizes for the winners (e.g. uncut Tale of Champions sheets )?

So, I'm curious. What did the Martell control players end up replacing Burning on the Sands with? The Viper's Rage? Red Vengeance plus some influence providers?

I put in a 3rd HCiT and open market (Was playing summer).

I got some old uncut sheets so I guess this time they didn't want to spoil a whole cycle in advance again.

It is also nice that my deck seemed pretty decent to some of you. Going 59th of 72 in Worlds with the same deck gave me a nice surprise...

Meeting mischraum/Ulrich in person was very cool. I got to practice my German, ask him about Stahleck, and advise him not to fly into Detroit.
