1. I am pretty sure you cant put a shadows card such as venemous blade directly into play without having first gone into shadows right?

2. also, doesnt the s0 of venemous blade have a printed cost of 2 anyway?

Considering that the "s" counts as "2" for printed cost, there is no Shadow attachment that can be brought into play by Pale Steel Link, not because of the Shadow restrictions, but because of the play restrictions of the link.
