Here's an interview w/ some info. Nothing we didn't already know tho. I wish he took footage of the units and terrain setups.

Those heavy walkers look like they are actually larger than the board square. Do you think that's the case? And will there be any special rules to handle that?
If memory serves, they are. Was joking around with one of the FFG demo staffers during a demo of Warfare that the Allied player that's getting hammered should run over to the display case and steal the heavy walker out of it, and drop it onto the field. He grinned, and was all "Yeah, man, when those things open up with their cannons, they go ba-boom ba-boom ba-BOOM!"
Pretty sure he said that they're 2x2 spaces, but don't quote me on that. They were so bloody huge I wouldn't be surprised.

I believe I just did.
Man, I kinda hope they aren't THAT big. How will they handle something like that?
Yeah I have a hard time picturing how a walker that big will move on the game board but, man, it is cool.
I also cannot wait for those heavy command squads. Their armor is very cool. Thanks for the information.
All this new stuff needs to get released!
Looking at this picture of the Heavy Command Squad, I think we can guess how the abilities will be handled by a 3-men team:
On the right the officer seems to have a backpack with an antenna, so he's also the radioman. On the left, the weapon specialist with the flak cannon also seems to have a big wrench tucked on his back, so he's also the mechanic. And the central figure seems to be just a medic, though both him and the officer seem to have pretty darn decent weaponry.

Just by moving 1 square at a time as normal I suppose, can't see a problem.
The thing is that most scenarios don't have room for a 2x2 behemoth to maneuver. He would constantly be blocked by walls. Actually the only scenario I can find where it would be able to cross the entire board is Blue Thunder 3. All others it would either not be able to deploy at all, or would be limited to a couple of steps.

Welcome to the problem with super large weapons and vehicles.

I don't see the heavy bots being very practical for the boardgame ,but when warfare comes out i think they will be well suited for that style of play.

They are going to blow people away for Warfare
