O M Goodness. The oldest thread in the forum. I am in awe. This was 2 years before that fateful day that I saw the game and dedecided,"I must have it".

Of course, I had heard of the game for months, but I was going to avoid it. I was playing WHFB and that was fine. Yes, it had problems, but I didn't need a new game to run into. I was going to stay far away from X-wing. I heard it was a lot of fun from those few people who can go to GenCon, but....

Man. I knew it existed, but I didn't have the cash. Still the same today of course, ha ha ha.

The real question is... how long after this thread did it take to see the first balance complaints?

There's been a few times where I came close to going back to the first page, finding the most inane thread on it and just replying "I agree."

To date, I have been strong.
