Patmos Amulet vs Hermetica Occulta

By player338225, in Tannhauser

"Any character lacking the Obscura Korps unit affiliation symbol who wishes to move into a circle on your path must win a Mental duel (which does not require an action) against you first."

I suppose this is not in effect when you are moved with the Amulet, but I wanted to check with the community.

*Disagree.

When Heizinger wants a person on his path: sure he's controlling the person with the amulet, but it's not like the the hermetica is magically turned off. I would say that "even under the supernatural influence, the mental barrier is still there". Some people are just greedy, Heizinger is way too powered up as it is.

When Heizinger wants to injure someone using that and the eye of horus (or is it helm of diomedes?): More power to him, guess the other player shouldn't have underestimated what a bastard he is.

I would say, patmos movement is not blocked by the hermetica.

Reason: The Hermitca Clearly Says "if a character w/o the obscura corps symbol WISHES to enter...". The Patmos Amulet yet FORCES the the character to move, even the user of the amulet has not the coice to not move the target.

The Hermetica isn't creating some magical wall, it is more like an Aura, the person has to mentally overcome, yet when under the influence of the amulet, the character isn't under his own control anymore, but of the Patmos-user.

I think Urd is right. The difference between characters wishing to move and forced movement is a good point.
