Just got in with the new Summer 2011 Game Night Kit and was surprized to find that both "Totenmeister" and "Action Jackson" are the pre-painted versions. I am surprized because the last kit came in the standard (non painted) versions.
"Action Jackson" really stands out when side by side with "Totenmeister". Gotta love the cigar "Action Jackson" is sporting and while I am a fan of the standard (non painted) version, I can see why people really enjoy the premium (pre-painted) version.
The group I play with was very much looking forward to seeing these new heros and when we saw them pre-painted, we were very much in awe (mostly because all of us own the standard copy of "Dust Tactics" and while we have seen the pre-paints on the front of the boxes, we have never seen them before in person). We all agree that the pre-paints are awesome. and they are, however we also are a bit bummed because these two premium figures make our standard version look all out of wack...LOL. Good job, FFG, this kit is another hit and we can not wait for the next one (until then we have two new heros to use and have fun with).
