all the preview figures from the Game Night Kits will be available for a wider release at a later date. Hooray!!!

I can imagine a Hero Pack being released. They have enough unreleased heroes to make one:

- Johnny One-Eye

- Stefan

- Action Jackson

- Totenmeister

That's the same amount of figures as a Special Ops box.

Individuals would be nice. But hey, if they sold the four as a pack together for $16, Im sure my buddy and I would split the cost $8 and split the figs.

I doubt they'll include those heroes in future campaign expansions. Each "operation" has its own hero, which is very much an integral part of that operation's flavour. It would be wierd for them to dig up one of these "old" heroes to be the heroes of a new operation.

I would think they would put out another Sigrid, perhaps a hero to match the Rakettentruppen, or whatever they call them. They did her in this outfit in 1/35 and 1/6, so I would imagine this coming out with them.

I'm sure when Joe and Sigrid go out of print, it will be **** easy to buy them second hand online. What with everybody buying at least 2 or 3 of the base set and not being able to use more than one of each hero in any match...

Both Sigrid and Joe need new figures anyway. Ones that make them 1) actually look cool 2) come with better stat cards (they are the main stars of the sides involved) and 3) have accurate price values. They need new sculpts for them (especially Joe, his fig is horrible).

Still wouldnt surprise me to see these figs packaged together in a expansion set, even if it were all 4 in one set. Operation Out For Profit. 9 new tiles, 2 tank traps, 2 ammo crates, 20 page scenario book. Heck they throw in 6 dice and Im beyond happy and drooling for this boxed set. Repeat the rules for wiebeldend (or whatever its called), put the rule for Badass in the book. Heck throw in Sig and Joe and you can have my $50.

The hardest part for them to produce the above "concept expansion set" is writing a new 8 scenario campaign, adding some fluff and printing new tiles.

Call it DUST TACTICS: OPERATION DESCENT and use some Descent tiles.

I would imagine Joe and Sigrid will be in the next Hero Pack. Even though nobody can seem to buy a game night kit anywhere in America, I imagine there will be more and they will release those hero's in a similar fashion, including Joe and Siggy in the next pack. From what I have heard from GenCon the Hero Packs will have 3 Hero's each. Action Jackson, Johnny One-Eye, and The Priest for Allies. Stefan, TotenMeister, and Grenadier X for the Axis. Though this is all from fan reports and nothing "press official" or whatever one would like to call it.

I am glad to hear at least someone is getting the game night kits. We are not able to get them in South Florida, and I have 3 FLGS trying to get them. If I were not friends with the owners, I would think that they were not even trying, but in this case, I have been with them for the emails and the calls. Not one of them has received a response. I am under the impression that FFG has ZERO interest in promoting the product here in Miami.

However, if I owned a company, I would probably not market here either. The FFG non-figure boardgames sell well here, but I have yet to see anyone purchase Dust Tactics here.
