Homemade Scenarios...

By Sebastian DuArgo, in Tannhauser

I'm kinda new to the whole forum thing, and I don't know how something like this works, but I want to start a thread about homemade scenarios, where Tannhauser fans can post their own scenarios for other players to review and play. Here is one I made to start it off:

The Race of the Labyrinth

Setup

Use the Labyrinth of Minos Map, this 3 player scenario pits the Reich, Union and Asteros against each other. Each player receives 3 command points per turn, Entry points for the Riech and Union are chosen using the "Rush and Go" variant, Asteros is placed in the center circle along with the scroll token. Crate tokens are randomly placed on the Action circle and all Objective circles except for the 4 along the third ring of the board.

Special Rules

Asteros gains 2 activations per turn. Each turn during the refresh token step, Asteros regenerates 1 health.

Only the Reich characters may claim the Scroll token. To claim a scroll token, any hero adjacent to the token may spend an action to place the scroll token on his character sheet (it does not take up an equipment slot.) If the character dies, the scroll token is placed on the board along with the disposable equipment tokens.

Any Union characters may place a bomb as an action on any objective circle on the 3rd ring. A placed bomb is represented by an unused token, such as a union flag. Any opposing character with the engineering skill may attempt to remove the bomb by making a mental check with 4 dice and getting 3 successes. This process costs an action.

Victory Conditions

If the riech collects the Scroll token and exits the map via any entry point with it, they immediately win.

If the union plants 4 bomb tokens, they immediately win

If the Asteros character eliminates all opposing forces, he wins.

That's pretty good, it only needs a few minor changes to make it fit the standard FFG template, I make up a Tannhuser Scenario Tempate when I have time, but I'm starting a new job soon, so it might be a while.

Has anyone ever thought about or made a scenerio using two map boards? Namely Castle Ksiaz and the Catacombs.

Castle: door entrypoint would be for one team

stairs entrypoint warps over to the stairs entrypoint in the catacombs

other catacomb entrypoint for other team.

seems like we could cut off alot of paths with rubble tokens and use secret doors much more effectively to make completely different maps without sacrificing play area and such..
