Toll Gate in Kingsmoot rules?

By Steelemdv94, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

I have the power title and the unopposed title. My opponent power challenges me for 3str. I defend with someone with 3str plus the 3str for the title. He then activates Toll Gate that says Stand a character and remove him from the challenge. He wins the challenge, but is it considered unopposed? Would he take both titles from me?

If you have no defending characters left during the resolution of the challenge, it's considered unopposed.

More specifically, if you have 0 Strength as the defender during the resolution of the challenge, it is considered unopposed. Having no defending characters is the most common occurence of this, of course.

Thank you, Couple more questions?

1.) I have Dagmer Cleftjaw (Each of your warships counts as 2 Str in the dominance phase) in play, I have 5 Warships in play. 3 warships are knelt. Do I still get the +2 Str for those knelt ships in the dominance phase?

2.) Ten Towers Honor Guard - Challenges: You may put TTHG into play from your hand, under the control of any opponent. After that opponent wins a challange in which TTHG participated, take control of TTHG. My scenario, opponent number 1 declares 1 attacking character against player 3. I put TTHG into play under opponent number 1's control. Can he then name them as an attacker along with his other guy? My question is when exactly can I put this guy into play?

3.) Jorah's Cohorts - Response: After you win a power challenge choose and discard an attachment from play. A.) Do I have to do this. B.) If I'm the only player with an attachment do I have to discard mine.

1. Not 100% sure, but i think that it is doesn't matter if the ship is kneeling or not.

2. In your scenario the attacking player has already declared attackers so he/she couldn't not add TTHG to the challenge. You can play TTHG during any of the player action windows of the challenge phase.

3a, you do not have to trigger responses if you do not want to.

3b. if you choose toe activate the response and that is the case then yes.

Dagmar Cleftjaw's text doesn't say that the locations have to be standing, so they don't need to. The locations aren't characters, so the rules for dominance don't apply to them. The additional strength comes from the Cleftjaw's effect, not from the locations themselves.
