I came across this question the other night in a game.

If an investigator is using the 45 revolvers, it says, Ability: Attack a monster withing 2 spaces, or if monster is within 1 space gain +2 marksmanship.(or something to this effect)

If you are not in the same space as monster and wish to do this Ability do you draw attack cards like normal, and if the roll is against dexterity, do you lose out on the +2 marksmanship?

And if you are in the same space and are attacking, does this Ability bonus count toward a card if you draw one that rolls against marksmanship?

Very puzzling.

It gives +2 Marksmanship only, some combat cards require other tests, Dex, Willpower, Intelligence so if you draw one of those cards, tough luck, +2 bonus doesn't help you. "Within 1 space" means you get the bonus if the monster is in the same space as your investigator or in an adjacent space (at range 1).
