question about the soulcage slave transport ship for a campaign

I maybe once asked this question but ..... a friend of mine who is gaming a rt campaign ( i am not part of it) with a strong eclessiarchy feeling. In adventure his groupe composed of but not only a sister hospitaler ( class adapted to rt ) and missionary. In a adventure they stumbled upon a soulcages ship with their own transport. The ship was drifting in realspace with some damage. They send a team for investigation. Apparently the slaves manages to succeed in their revolte but were unable to pilote it. The team managed to finish of the slaver survivor and the key menber like the astropath and the navigator. they took care of the slaves body and soul and begun to purify the ship.

The missionaries then subjest the idea of towing the soulgages to their objective planet and continues their to restore the health and souls of the former slaves. Witch they do ( under scrunity for fear of corruption).

The sister hospitaler than claim that she had a dream to change the soulcage ship into a floating hospital and missionaries ship. She was adamantly that it must be that ship in honnor of the former slaves ( they hate slavering) and as a form of poetic justice.

They send a astropathic message to find a crew, a astropath, the mecancus necessary and son on but also to recruit more medical personal and priest to purify the ship.

All in all it s not a problem because it is really fitting the theme of the campaign and their warrant ties to the echlesiarchy. So the gm accept it.

Because i had the same idea he ask me what will be the space available on thi ship but i have no idea in order to remake it

So my question is for you what will be the space available on tthis ship? remenber they want no other kind of ship.

Very grateful for your help

Probably 40, given the size and equivalence to other Transports.

When my players captured a Soulcage, I simply said the stats were equivalent to a <Insert name of Imperial Transport*>. Since most Soulcages were originally Imperial ships that got captured and desecrated, it stands to reason they'd be Imperial standard after they get cleaned up.

* I think I said it was a Carrack class... let me check my notes.

Cheers,

I'd agree. Various sources agree that Chaos doesn't really produce transports of its own but rather reuses captured ones. However, Chaos being Chaos you could say that it was once an old class of transport that is no longer produced if you want to make up some new stats.

Also, I'm generally of the school of thought that a ship home to such horrors as a Soulcage would probably be irrevocably tainted and should be destroyed lest they corrupt their new crews. But that's just me. Still, I'd be a bit suspicious of where that dream came from demonio.gif.
