You win a chalenge........ does the banner attach before or after the vigilant gets an opportunity to trigger? what I want to know is if I can stand the character in the same challenge where I attached the banner? We play it that they don't stand.

Another question...... the reinforcements are events that transform into characters.......where do they go when they die? I guess to the discard because the lasting effect that made them characters cease to exist when they leave play.....the problem is that when they become moribund they are on the way to the dead pile and still in play.

So when a Reinforcement is killed, it actually enters the "moribund:discard pile" state before being physically removed from the table per the replacement effect outlined in the above rule.
