I''m converting these cards so they can be used without needing the Dungeon or Highland board, nor the Dungeon or Highland Cards.

Aren't those just a couple of cards, like 10 or so per expansion?

Yes this is true, but it's better than not using these cards.

For example, if you discover a Dungeon Door, you may enter the Dungeon if you wish and draw 3 Adventure Cards. At the end of your turn you must discard any remaining cards. The next time a player visits the Dungeon Door he draws 3 new Adventure Cards. This is based on the Secret Door Adventure Card from the 2nd edition of the game with a couple of tweaks.
