Thanks for sharing the content guys!
Questions: how many pages long is the new adventure? is it suitable for non-dwarf party or is the ideal continuation of the promotional material on this website?
Any GM point of view on the scenario?

Any GM point of view on the scenario?
The new adventure is 21 pages long. I've not had the chance for a detailed look but it's for experienced characters (it recommends rank 2 or 3)
As for how adaptable, it's difficult to say without...

(don't read on unless you want the adventure spoiled, or at least the start of it)
The adventure revolves around returning a dwarven hammer, and as such there is no requisite for a dwarven party (though one dwarf will make things a lot easier). It is suggested that if you have played through and Eye For An Eye then the hammer could be Korden's Hammer and the party is returning it.
I'll not go into specifics ut this is the setup.

Well obviously I've not played it yet but...
The structure and overview sounds like a neat idea, it's quite straightforward idea (take item X to place Y) but not necessarily very linear, in fact certain episodes are very free-form.
There is also a great deal of scope to vary the ending and outcomes, leading to many possible follow ups, but to avoid spoilers I'll not say more.
Thanks, Tomba!
I hope we will have it soon in Germany too. Can't wait.
Thanks for the preview, but one question: is there no third tier career for Runesmiths and Engineers?
Well, the site shows it as "In Stores," completely bypassing "Shipping Now".
Thanks to dwarven engineering, boxed sets can now be launched from the ship, straight into your FLGS. ![]()

Let me see...
Apprentice Runesmith (basic), then Runesmith (advanced). No third tier.
Dwarf Engineer (basic), then Dwarf Master Engineer (advanced). No third tier.
The Runesmith fluff (on the back of the career card) mentions that 'the creation of Master Runes are still beyond him'. In the rulebook, master runes (that is, applying 3 runes to an item) is left to GMs discretion, and it seems unlikely that there'll be rules for a career which explicitly allows it. That's just my reading of it though...

Let's see if they can apply dwarven engineering to the Slaanesh box!
Bought mine yesterday at a LGS (sad it's not that friendly) so it is out in stores at least in some parts of the USA.

That one will appear in your bed next to you when you wake. You won't remember both how it got there, and what happened the night before.

There are just sooooooo many things wrong with that sentence and/or concept...
I'll have mine in a couple hours, but I am curious, did they include a Dwarvish pronunciation guide?
Does dawi rhyme with "me" or "my"? Same with grobi and umgi.

If love is wrong, I don't wanna be right....nubile dwarf chics plz!
Mine arrived yesterday from Leisure Games of London, so it's out in the UK. Looks good, my dwarven player will be over the moon.

As Tombi said there's no third tier careers for Runesmiths or Engineers included in the box which means that they're even worse off than priests and mages. It is however fairly easy to work out what the abilities and advances of a master runesmith/engineer would be (more so than with Priests/Mages) so you could make your own Tier 3 careers if necessary.
We have them in at Sacramento, CA. Haven't picked mine up yet.

Just picked up my copy from my FLGS in Newcastle (UK) today.
First impressions: very nice.
Anybody want to know anything?
I've go to go out in a few minutes but I'll be back later and will try to answer any queries folks have, if any.
Tomba
which store did you hit FP or TM?
><
I peeled my copy off the shelves at my FLGS here in Portland, OR today at lunch.

TM, which I use more regularly (though I do still use FP at times) for three reasons:
(i) When I have my son in his pushchair there are no steps to go down
(ii) It just feels cleaner and brighter and I don't feel too ashamed to take my wife in when we're in town
(iii) In my experience they do more to promote the hobby- they have a games night, they put me into contact with people playing games they know I like and they often have demos, participation games, tournaments etc.
Don't get me wrong, I think FP is a good shop but I just find that TM is a better fit for me.
I have to say, I love the drunken action cards. The humor in them is great.
I'd be interested to see if people treat it as a style or not.
I'm slightly disappointed that they skipped over Daemon Slayer and went straight to Dragon Slayer but just call that a nitpick on my part. Sounds like a fun supplement. Gonna be taking the tour of LGS's this weekend and hope that at least someone has it in stock. Wish me luck!

They did not skip over Daemon Slayer, the Dragon Slayer is the third stage for slayers, Daemon Slayer would be the tier 4 career on the slayer path. In WFB the Troll Slayers and Giant Slayers are special units, the Dragon Slayer is a hero and the Daemon Slayer is a Lord (the highest level). But still they could have released the Daemon Slayer as well, for slayers that have completed the Dragon Slayer.
But I sure hope for a high-tier supplement, and if they release one the Daemon Slayer career is likely to be included there.
Daemons are more dangerous than Dragons. ![]()
Indeed. It's better to see that "Daemon" refers to Greater Daemons, rather than lesser Daemons, or Daemon Spawn.
I'm liking the Grudge Keeper career, although I wish it had Weapon Skill. I'm thinking of making them part of a career track with Oath Keeper at 2nd tier and Lore Keeper at 3rd. Perhaps working in a new advanced skill of Dwarf Lore. Also have an idea of creating new talent cards called Lore. Maybe I can come up with some new action cards too; with Strange Eons this should be more than feasible. I'm saddened the set did not have the Runebearer, Shieldbreaker, or Ranger as well so I might create them too. Anybody have any ideas on that or other stuff?

You are correct. My mistake. Not being as familiar with the battle game, my understanding of the career progression came from both the WFRP2e path of Troll Slayer > Giant Slayer > Daemon Slayer, and from William King's Gotrek & Felix novels which progress Troll Slayer > Skaven Slayer > Daemon Slayer > Dragon Slayer.

In this regard, I never got that impression from WFRP. With the obvious exception of the greater daemons (Bloodthirsters, Lords of Change, Great Unclean, etc), it always seemed to me than dragons were regarded as the epitome of power and terror in the Old World. Most daemons, even significant ones, have lower "Slaughter Margins" than a dragon. Could just be a difference between WFB and WFRP but I suppose that's another reason I assumed Dragon Slayer belonged after Daemon Slayer in the career progression. Curious...
