Anyone take a look at the new Kill Team game on Xbox Live? I've played through it, and though it is by no means a perfect game, I found it pretty enjoyable. I especially liked their take on the Meltagun (even though I know it was fudged a little to make it viable in the arcade-shooter type game.) It's not a Deathwatch squad, but it did have a nice Space Marine feel to it, and you get to (briefly) see an Assault Ram in action.

It was fun but way too hard on single-player mode. I haven't played it a lot but I'm stuck in the engine room of the second level at the moment. One guy just doesn't have enough of a punch to fight off endless waves and take out the engines at the same time. Maybe I'll try it with the Sternguard Veteran next time because it's really hard with the Techmarine.
As a tech: equip the best quality perk for special ability recharge, and effectiveness... you should be able to keep a Tarantula up nigh-constantly while you plink away at the engine cores. But, it definitely is rough going alone, and it just gets worse as you go on through. Tech + sternguard though... show those greenskins what dakka is all about.

Try doing it with the assault marine... irritating but i managed it solo! Games a little on the short side but we all know everyone bought it for the power sword in Space Marine.
howd u beat wierdboy with just assault marine?

Hit and run, also using the power ups sparingly. Took a few cracks and i was using the power axe at the time. Getting as much accuracy as you can from the plasma pistol for the other guys is important too. It wasn't easy and took a few goes, health and melee power ups too. But this game really put me in the mood for DW! All the characters exist in DW and the whole game can easily be translated into a DW campagin, with a bit of tweaking. Personally i think they should have used Death Watch rather than astartes, it would have made more sense fluff wise. Who knows maybe they will realese the death watch chapter as DLC?
I found single-player fairly simple really, the Sternguard Veteran just mulched everything - the only bit I got stuck on for a little while was against the final boss, when I kept being stuck without any health-packs, but I managed that eventually!
Going through it all as a Librarian now - they butcher everything!
The Librarian is Brutal, I played through the whole game as him and took the Rng / HtH powerups for him.
Just whack a life orb on and you are set!! ;-)
The game should be out on the PS3 now...
Played, beat it on the 360 and really, really, enjoyed it... Everyone with at least a passing interest in 40K should try it.
Fun, not perfect, but definately worth it. I haven't played it co-op yet, but have beaten it with the Librarian, Sternguard, and Vanguard on single-player. The hardest was the vanguard. His plasma pistol is the weakest ranged weapon in the game (
), so that was a bit challenging. Also, I don't know how many times I commited suicide by jump packing into explosive barrels! Annoying. Tip for this is to randomly fire in to each new area to attempt to clear it out before moving in.

Strange, I found him to be relatively easy to use.
The Librarian is causing me problems. The Tech Marine was the easiest to win with, with the Vanguard coming in a close second.

Different strokes, I guess. I used the Librarian first & destroyed everything (without the best perks unlocked, as it was my frst time).
