And most importantly:

3. If all the cards would be super playable it would be boring, wouldn't it? Maybe I'm just too used to buying expansions for just 1 card, or none at all but having them for future use.

Boring? Having a full pack of good, usable cards would be boring? Not the word I'd choose. Having cards that are good now and can be useful with later expansions is too much to ask for? sorpresa.gif

Seriously, I don't get why this discussion is having place.

It might be because some competitively minded players have

reservations about the cards that have so far been spoiled for

'The Summons of the Deep' AP. I myself am not solely a

competitive player so I'm not as concerned but I can certainly

understand why they are and respect their right to express themselves

on this forum and your right ManitOu to whine about what you see

as thier whinning. Of course you can always avoid reading this topic

to save youself the stress? gui%C3%B1o.gif

Would it hurt if Polar was more powerfull than it is now - Well, probably not. If the game goes on, though, and I hope it does, there might come a point when Polar gets revisited, or some other card is made that makes polar the deck to beat. The foundation is there. The seed has been planted. It's not the worst - as in: least playable- thing I've seen over the years. A polar deck could probably take an overpay, brotherhood, benefactor or (why isn't it playable?) Tome deck on...

Benefactor deck? sorpresa.gif

But seriously, I get both sides of the argument. I still agree with TRO in that Zann is simply unplayable even in a casual environment unless you do so just for flavour. The situation where he is useful is so overtly special that I don't see it coming up even in a casual environment. And that is the real problem, I think.
