There is a stream but it does not say if its deep or shallow??

In general, if something isn't stated as problematic, it probably isn't, so I'd consider it shallow. [i don't have this.]

Every other scenario I have seen that had a stream in it, it has said if it was deep or shallow. This scenario does not say anything about the stream one way or the other.

Yes, since it doesn't say anything, we should assume that there isn't anything to say. A shallow stream that doesn't hinder movement could easily get overlooked, while a deep one that takes more movement points would need to be addressed. Since nothing is said about it hindering movement, then it must be there for cosmetic reasons. It looks nice, but we should take no further notice.
