[Provided]Gregorius21778 vs. DaemonHunter

By Gregorius21778, in Dark Heresy House Rules

Hi there,

no, do not balk at me. happy.gif I like DaemonHunter so far (just skimmed it & only finished a few articles), but I already found some things I would like to houserule. Which I would like to share with you.

p.76 Unguents of Warding
This "all Zones must be warded" might be nice from a balancing point of view (?), but I do not like where this goes. If I start out with a carapace breast plate and ward it, all is. If I fiend a beautiful helmet while stroling around and start to wear it, the warding is gone the moment I done the helmet. As soon as I remove it, the warding is in effected again. Nope, not my way of handling it.

Instead, the mentioned benefits are added as soon any zone is warded, but all Zone warded get +1 AP against Daemonic/Psychic attacks for each level of success made on the role to place the wardings (role only once for all zones you intend to ward...unless you are a true Administratum clerk with a -LOVE- for book keeping).

Perhaps more to come later....

i for my self my question are linked to the deamon as i said in a another post but here i will add this why the weapons most always be bigger? look at the hellrifle you get got a exitus sniper rifle without being a vindicare.

Eh? If it says that "All zones must be warded"; all zones must be warded. Just because you only have a Breastplate on does not mean those other zones cease to exist. If you ward the breastplate (your chest), your legs/arms/head are still unwarded so therefore you are .. unwarded. :P

As for the Hellrifle it is a Unique rifle - which means it is even rarer than a Exitus rifle - doubly so because we are referring to a Best Quality Exitus rifle by default (it is in the nature of them), well the Hellrifle is listed as a Normal quality. Granted, there is nothing "more Unique than Unique" but I just point that out to drive home how bloody rare and excessively difficult acquiring such a thing should be. It doesn't have a price listed for a reason after all, and you are running around with an item that is viewed to be Radical (all puritans after you), the Adeptus Mechanicus has never been able to examine (not that they would openly make a move, but its sure as hell you will catch their eye), is one of the "few" weapons that can hurt daemons (Radicals after you), and is obviously and visibly impossibly valuable (in short, everyone after you. Forever). It is not the kind of weapon you want to be flaunting around.
