Future products

By Replicant253, in Dark Heresy

Does anyone know what future products may or may not be available for Dark Heresy or is the current crop of books our lot for the time being? I ask because the Rogue Trader/Death Watch cycle initiated by BI has been confirmed as a model that FFG are following and Rogue Trader could possibly be out Autumn 2009 and once that is out then quite rightly that will take centre stage product wise.

I have not even heard rumours of any future products and therefore I can only assume that Creatures Anathema will represent the last product for the current incarnation of Dark Heresy. Just to clarify when I say Dark Heresy products I mean this current level of the game as it is now, focused on inquisitorial acolyte teams.

Mister Watson said in a podcast interwiev that Dark Heresy products will be developed and released after the release of Rogue trader.

I'm sure we'll start getting hints after Anathema drops.

Did not Ross mention an "epic" campaign for Calixis?

It would be nice for him to completely inappropriately drop some hints about the future of the product range, whichever level. I believe this is called "chumming the waters" in some fields. gran_risa.gif

yay!

I really really like this game. the setting is a lot of fun, my gamer group absolutely loves the system and we've been able to mine our old warhammer 40k suppliments for plot lines and ideas and all sorts of goodness. Rogue trader will be on my list o' things to aquire for sure, but I think DH is my first love. glad to hear that more hertical goodness is coming our way!

I've just find this link in frpgames.com. The web where i buy my DH books.

New adventure book in march!!!!

The HaarlockLegacy Vol 1 Tattered Fates.

Sound great!!!!

Hey Ross, can we get a bit of info on the upcoming Schedule of releases?

While awaiting the release CA, I must have something else to preorder and ponder over soon. That's the best part of this adictio-- er , uh, umm ... hobby. demonio.gif

The actual problem with the hobby is the **** internet. We learn five months before a book comes out that its coming out and we foam at the mouth for it and by the time its released we woudl rather hear about the next book.

I remember in the old days of walking into a hobby store and going "hmm never heard of this adventure/sourcebook" and buying it within seconds of learning its title.

I think that's how I ended up with Dragon Dice!

The flip side is that though I was fortunate enough to work in a hobby store just as forums were coming inot to there own, there was not internet at work at first. I often would be caught totally off guard by customer requests and would spend many hours playing catch up to find out all I could about what they were requesting.

We are so spoiled these days...can't wait for the upcoming releases even though I'm still anxiously awaiting creatures anathema.
