Modelling Ideas

By Peacekeeper_b, in Dust Tactics General Discussion

Been trying to figure out how to get the models that were released as Game Night Kits but are not available to the public as large.

Ive come up with the idea of just modeling them myself. Such as: Use a spare Captain Joe Brown and remove his head, attache it to a grenadier body and do a weapon swap with a BBG Squad flame thrower body and presto, Stefan!

Any other ideas floating aroudn out there?

I have sent requests out to every FLGS I can think of here in Miami-Dade and Broward, and none of them have gotten responses back about support.

I contacted FFG directly, and got a response that my query was forwarded to the correct people.

I have enough DT stuff to field 6 players at once, so I can go to any store and run demo's. However, if FFG wont support these stores with the game night and promo bits, I am not so sure I will pursue it and just play for fun and not for actively supporting the product.

This is one of those situations where I love a game, I sink money into it, and nobody plays it around me. So I get everything I can for all sides so that my friends can play without the initial risk of spending, but the stores get no support, so they do not order it. It is a Catch-22. I loved Mutant Chronicles when it came out in 1998(sic) and it was strong, then it petered out. I luckily sold all those minis I had. I am hoping that FFG will crank up the support here, but I am seriously not holding my breath.

I wish you luck!
