Ok, so I have had this premium starter set since 2002 and it has never been played, the cards have been out of the box less than 5 times. Is this set still being used (i don't play so i know nothing about them). What would the set be worth if I sold it? My family needs some money to move out of state and I am hoping someone out there would be interested in them or my board game i bought around the same time.

FFG changed its marketing policy for the A Game of Thrones card game a couple years ago. For the most part, people only play with the newer cards now. So there is not much demand for the older cards. On the other hand, the older cards are not as readily available these days so they might be desirable as a novelty to a newer player. My impression of the starter sets was that they did not have particularly rare/valuable cards in them, so older players probably already have all of the cards. If I had to guess, I'd say you could probably get around the original price you paid for the starter set, maybe more, but finding the right person to sell to might be tricky.

Thanks for the post! I'm gonna try to throw them up on ebay and see what I might be able to get. Even $20 would be nice.
