*Its...beautiful*
i feel like weeping.
That's quite nice, I thought it was going to be a general gaming table, not an awesome entire city-scape.
How much does such a thing cost?
Warehouse 13!
Looks great, would be lucky players who get to play on there
You know what would look good on there?
Wow...

Nice minis line. Was thinking of ordering one of the Assassin models for an Agent/Assassin character in our group.
Thanks for the comments.
CM, most of this stuff is scratch built, so it doesn't cost anything, except you're always buying loads of materials and bits and pieces so it costs a bomb, eg, yesterday I saw some cake decorations for a wedding cake and thought that they might come in handy one day for a temple, so had to buy them. I wouldn't like to guess how much I've spent.
Zwobot, yeah, I watched a demo of FF at Games Expo. The minis look extremely cool, but I was put off a bit because the system seemed heavily tied to the minis. ie, substituting my own figures seemed like it might lose something (the individual rules come with the figures, right?).
My god ML that's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I was thinking about posting my GM screen I made for WFRP, but all I can think of now is how bad I want to be a little mini visiting pub after pub.
I want to be small and pewter! (Not finecast)
Nice work. Wife's got you relegated to the attic though eh? Nice to have a place to get away to ![]()
VERY nice. Does it distract the players much though? With the abstract-ness of 3ed, you only really us standups etc during encounters, I can see with a beautiful city-scape like that, everyone would be keen to constantly refer to it.
Hi,
Well done ML. That is truly inspiring. For that set up I'd write a whole new set of rules for 3rd ed abstract range to work with the city. The guy who GMs our RT game has a similar 40k city scape, but not equal to your incredible quantity and diversity. Top job.
@Emirikol. Nothing at all wrong with attics, ideal set up for mad-geniuses to work their "special projects", what with the current shortage of creepy stone towers in dark forests...
This is the first time I'd seen the pics on your blog and they are absolutely amazing. I love the work you've done with all the pieces.
Great job!

Yeah, we don't actually use it for our WFRP games. I played one game of WFRP on a simlar set-up, where the PCs were all city watchmen and the table was their beat, so everything happened in wysiwyg, but normally we don't.
