I was browsing the Alliance Games guest catalog to see if I could find when the new Runebound expansion was hitting. In doing so I saw four very interesting listings for FFG. They are:

Note: The "NYA" at the start stand for "Not Yet Available" and the "FFG DExx" is the SKU number.

Could these be unannounced figures for the lieutenants? $10 seems pretty steep for a single figure, but if they were prepainted, maybe. Given that the Wings of War minis run a bit more than $10 it seems reasonable.

Having seen the Anima figures, and knowing the Descent scale, these should be reasonably priced, depending on exchange rates. Thankfully they're not pre-painted, but I am going to have to shuffle my storage to fit them in with the rest of Descent...

SciFiGenre is one of the best gaming stores around btw. Always have good discounts on everything they sell online, hence the $7.95 vs $10 for the figures, they knocked it down 20%. I live 5 minutes from the store, so I'm in there all the time. Great gaming community, and its actually the first place I played Descent at.

Since I've been shopping for Lieutenant figures with other mini companies, this is good news for me :-)

Yes, they're unpainted, but I'll be happy to remedy that :-D

It WOULD be nice if they decided to include a couple game tidbits with it, to give the lieutenant encounters a bit more flavour...
