Do you guys want big expansions for this game?

1) I cant find any logical connection between your reply and my post.

You said some of the contents are in POD products. I said I have no use for them as such. You said the next expansion will be POD. I say I'll have no use for it. I do see a logical connection between them.

I would love a few big boxes too. The POD's keep it fresh and exciting with new stories, but I want more monsters, more puzzles, more tiles, more investigators, more everything, because that is what this game begs for. More stuff, so we can have more options and more fun with it. And, of course, more madness.

He dreamed about other dimensions and I said SotW has one.

And what else I said is there is another PoD scenario in development, this was just information, not any kind of statement or else.

I would love big expansions!

Everything stated already (more rooms, more monsters, more investigators, etc.) sounds great.

Also, I know FFG is going to come out with at least one non- print on demand expansion. If you go to the FAQ/Errata page under Support, the second paragraph (the one in red) says they will include corrected versions of cards in the first NON POD expansion for Mansions of Madness. Also, the "Crucifix" item card from the base game says you can stun a zombie OR A VAMPIRE- so perhaps they will be including vampires in their first expansion?

Either way, I look forward to it!

I heard talk on board game geek. That first expansion was going to be witches and vampires. However, I simply dismissed this. After hearing absolutely nothing. But, it looks like we might be getting some kind expansion after all. However, I already received the corrected cards along with misprinted cards in mansions of Madness copy.Which has me worried this might be false hope. At the same time, it dose say that " Corrected set of all known misprinted cards in the first ( non-printed on demand) Mansions of Madness." Which might a little ray of hope after all. I guess, we're going have just wait and see.

If there IS going to be an expansion announcement, I suspect FFG won't announce anything until Arkham Nights. Seems like that would be the logical place to do it, since it's where they offered the sneak preview of Mansions itself last year.

They just did! "Forbidden Alchemy" is the next box set:

It's got a Mad-Science theme, 4 new Investigators, 2 new monsters, and a bunch of other stuff! What do you guys think?

This game rocks...my wife hates board games....(sad) but she does like clue...(boring) and this game is like Clue on "Streroids"!!! (Awesome)aplauso.gif

Oh Yeah...I forgot to add. Yes...Definitely Big Box expansions...maybe something that connects to the house underground this way you can us the manson or some dark graveyard with a cave that connects to the manson!!!

I am looking forward to this . . . the only thing I wish we would have got a little more of was new monsters, but those are expensive to produce and for a $35.00 price tag, it's got about as much awesomeness as possible packed in there, it looks like. This will be a must get.

I do hope that they mix up a combination of the PoD Scenarios, midsized expansions about this size, and large expansions (probably about $50.00) which would have about 5 new scenarios, 4-8 new investigators, around 200 cards,, about 6-10 map tiles, and about 6-10 or so new monsters) (as well as all the other new contenty type things that will be released).

What I really would love is a guide on how to create balanced scenarios of your own, as well as an expansion aimed at doing exactly that.

Regardless, of what does come out, I love this game and am very excited to see what the future holds for it.
