Quest Compendium 2.0

By Curator, in Tide of Iron

Reading over the many misprints in the ToI book it appears FFG has repeated another poorly edited/playtested book. My store owner allowed me to return it though for a money back refund.

I am beginning to think FFG editors are not taking notes or playtesting the games. Hopefully we can see job posting for "Playtesting Coordinator/Editor" or something. I wouldn't mind the painstaking job of having to make sure the rules are clear, error free, and match the intended action they describe. I have written a few rulebooks myself so I know how tedious one change to the rules can get as you have to then pretty much re-read the entire rules to make sure it doesn't contradict, but it is a process that makes the product feel professionally done.

I agree 100%.

(blablabla)

i agree as well, unfortunatly FFG is too greedy to care and i don't think they even read these forums

i agree and your more then likely right about them not reading there forums and don't give a ratsass about the people who purchase their games. You know i wonder do they know that its us that keeps them in gaming. FFG take a step back and see what you have coming out and ask yourself is this item really ready for release or are we just going to wing it and fix it later.
