Hi all. Tiffany and I just got back from our honeymoon adventure across the MA coast. I snapped many pics of some very ***** places...
Devil's Hopyard
Our first destination was Salisbury Beach, where we rented a campsite across the bay from Innsmouth. On the way there, we made a brief stop to have lunch in Devil's Hopyard State Park.
Innsmouth
On our first day of camping we ventured into nearby Innsmouth. The beautiful day provided us with many sights and photo ops.
York's Wild Kingdom
On our second day we went to York, Maine and checked out York's Wild Kingdom. I'm surprised to see that apparently every zoo wants to showcase capybara. I also included a very special picture for one particular forum member.
Rockport
After our camping trip was over we headed to Rockport to spend a couple nights in Seven South Street Inn. We had already visited the inn back in February, when were scouting out possible wedding locations. Some of the pictures from our February visit and an earlier visit in 2007 are included.
I highly recommend Seven South Street Inn to anybody who's visiting the Rockport area. The inn is beautiful and the owner Debbie was very friendly and cooked a spectacular breakfast every morning. The coffee, it should be noted, is great too.
Gloucester
Just south of Rockport is the town of Gloucester. It's great for shopping or for a meal. Because of our schedule we didn't get time to snap many pics but I included a few from the February visit.
Arkham
During our first day at the inn, we traveled south to visit Arkham. The weather had slowly turned gloomy.
Kingsport
After leaving Arkham, we traveled south to Kingsport. The rain had now become a bit heavier, but the misty town was every bit as beautiful as I'd imagined.
Dunwich
We had checked out of the inn, and were heading home. On our way back we made a brief visit to Dunwich. The rain was pretty heavy now so I randomly selected a road on the GPS for sightseeing. Turns out I had accidentally chosen the road that not only leads past the oldest building in the town, but to the top of Sentinel Hill!
