I Run Wargames Workshop in Northampton, and we have a few players here and play most weeks at one of the local clubs too.

We are holding our next tournament on Sunday 31st JULY, at our store in NORTHAMPTON!

Its Free, and we open at 11am and probably first round will start at about 11.30am.

Great to hear from other players too, we have a good number of players at my local club about 8 and 4 came to the last tournament we held, also some players from birmingham and peterborough too.

I think our location, some mean that we could get a good regurlar meeting point going if we can as london and birmingham are both just about 1 hours drive.

Any possibility to resurrect the UK WHI community Guys? Why is it so popular in US, and Australia but not here? Why the game organizing has struggled in Northampton in this year?

I'm planning on talking to the owner of Mondo Comico in Nottingham, to see if it's possible to run events there. He's got a few local casual players but no tournament scene of any kind. There's no objection in principle, and he's got loads of gaming space.

What I'd need to know is whether or not there's any interest from elsewhere, would anybody be willing to travel a few miles for a tourney? After all if it's just me and 2-3 guys from Nottingham then it's not going to be a huge success.

I try to make more popular the game between my friends but we will see. Might be 2 more others player interested in from here. Let me figure out and I will inform you shortly.
