Runebound characters for DQ

My girlfriend and I have been playing this game like mad the last week. Only 5 wins between the two of us and quite a few deaths on the last space as the doors close. She is starting to believe that the Staff of Light and it's partner are a curse to anyone trying to leave the dungeon.

Anyways, we have wanted to port over the Runebound characters to DQ and I'd thought I'd give it a shot. I will post the stuff I have come up with shortly. In the meantime, has anyone else attempted the same thing? I found that is was a little difficult retaining the flavor of the RB characters in DQ since your over all actions are in DQ are narrow. I hope to start playtesting the stuff I've written and get the raw data to the community at large to improve upon.

As I said before this was just a rough idea with some attempt made to retain the flavor of the RB character. I have not tried them out at all, so I can't tell of they are broken.I am pretty sure that most will need some type of tweaking.

8 ST When Sir Valadir has less than 5 wounds left, he gains 2 determination tokens for a test

I have completed creation of DQ character cards for RB warriors. These should be up for download and viewing at BGG soon. If you would like them sooner, message me and I will send them along. I also have a series of character blanks in assorted colors. Both kinds of files come in jpg or psd format.

Once you upload the package, you might try drop a couple card images into the DQ3 gallery at BGG, with a description indicating "see the Files section". It's possible they won't be approved, since you are using material from another game, but you never know, and it would help bring attention to your package.
