Thoughts on Stats for Panzer Prinze?

I've not seen the film or mech yet, I'll get it when its released :) RPG and RPM are to completely different weapons, an RPM's minimum range would be further than an RPG's maximum. Maybe you should just call it a rocket or missile launcher if its vehicle launched to avoid confusion.

Thanks for the Nyak repost, hadnt seen it on Ark's blog. I think it needs a bit of a tweek though as it occupies 4 squares, even without the base. i was thinking it would treat terrain as infantry does for movement purposes. Thus allowing it to move past tank traps,woods, etc. and when its move is complete two of the four squares must be empty while the other two can have terrain features in it. points at 50?

why not just use the axis ape rules for 'counts as' werewolves?

Its no exactly repost i just based all my weapon status on his for consistency sake (RPG was transfered from at 43 probably)

For Nayk my idea is that it counts as taking only one field , becouse its agility and rapid movement , legs are always moving so there are not target for at fire and friendly infantry tries to keep distance. You could use skimmer base from GW for example if its hard to find center piece and fit infantry around model

Iam not yet comfortable with new point system - iam thinking 50 - 60 points

My problem with Soviet vs German guns is that in limited scope of stats its hard to get diffrence -bigger caliber/power vs higher penetration.

I though about lowering stats and STUN special rule for Soviet Heavy Guns (you loose one action if they hit) but that makes game to complicated .

Don't think an AT rifle should be able to shoot at an aircraft, but the rest is ok, but what points. The Wounds should be 3 for the number of models not 1.

Ammo is strong enough for AA

Moder Anti M rifles are able to shoot down helicopters, low-flying UAVs for sure and there is no way to go lover than 1/1

i will change it to (1) (all soldiers shooting cordinated volley) in future when airplanes become avaible and we will know its stats (it wont work for jets for sure)

~27 points ? t hey have far lover AT capabilities than tank killers and bbq squad but they are quite fast and deadly vs infantry.

So what is the consensus for Panzer Prinze? Or does this continue to devolve into a "lets use 40K minis for Dust" rant?

You will hardly ever get an agreement on a proposed cards stats as everybody has their own idea's The best thing to do is to take the idea you fancy and give it a try. If there is a choice I'd go for the one that doesn't add new rules to the game and is simple and in keeping with the current rules.

I think I may have to rip that from you and put it on my blog. I already have cards done for Daemons (Use the bloodthirster and bloodletters) and Japanese Daemons using Dark Eldar Mandrakes but not Kroot thats pretty funny.

You'd get credit just I would want to redo it to make it look like my text.
