Still too weak. Compare them better. I think that 9 out of 10 engagements the allied lights will destroy the axis.
Got my Seelowe and light walker today

Sure the Axis Lights do not look a light as the Allied, but they are a lot more protected, I just don't get half the cards FFg come up with. Where is their Scout ability as suggested in the blurb?
Pardon me Major, but how is the Axis Light Walker better protected than an Allied one? There is no difference. The Axis Light Walkers are missing the FAST ability for certain. Otherwise, the Allied Walkers are so much better.
The Axis model look heavier and better protected and do not have an exposed crewman, going by the model, not the card.

The US Light Walkers do have fast so they can sprint out away from their line and close in to engage the enemy. But that is hardly an advantage is used incorrectly. The German Light Walkers are more likely to hang back and move with the infantry, benefiting from a longer range and support elements being with them.
The US Light Walkers run the risk of exposing themselves and leaving themselves alone in the open, plus, the closer they get to the enemy the more likely they are in range of the enemy as well.
Its all in how you employ them.

Have you used them yet? I am waiting for the official response now.
As near as I can figure it, if they are not missing the Fast or Agile abilities, then they are expected to be used as support for other units, not recon units which is really what I originally expected them to be. So perhaps my perception of them being scouts for the Axis is wrong. I originally thought it would be cool to have light mechs which were merely for support, and I guess this is what I wished for.
