the new hero sculpts are amazing and the tankbusting walker card made me giggle. its all or nothing against another walker. with 1-bolt-9 (which i now dub 1p9 p=phaser), you should miss or obliterate.
Got my Seelowe and light walker today
oh, and with at least with the allied walker, you dont totally get what you see. you only get the sitting rider, not both. Also i'm looking at running 2 wildfires i think. cityfight expansion with firing lanes and wildfire gets 7/1 vs type 2 troops with superior reactive fire? yes please.
No release here in UK yet
So the phaser isn't as good as the Petard on Steel Rain then which destroys anything on a hit. Bit dissapointed, was hoping for a bit more special rules from a Phaser.
PS Would it be to much to ask to post the quad guns profiles?
I'd love to see the cards for those walkers. Maybe on BGG?
No release over here in Germany too
I´d like to see some pics of the content, the walkers and so on?
Wow, so the phaser does 1*9 against armor 4 vehicles? That's harsh. Really all or nothing.
for some reason, my pics cut off a bit when i post with my Xoom, but there is the meat of the cards
Thanks a lot. Wow, that's a very.... clean... card for the Honey. By my calculations that's an average of 0.66 hits against infantry and 1 hit against vehicles on a single SHOOT action. Sure, the maxium is 6 and 9, but you have a very big chance of doing nothing at all. On sustained fire it averages 1.33 hits against infantry and 2 hits against vehicles. I'm probably not doing the math correctly, but anyway.......
And the Wildfire is a true menace against infantry. 7/1 with Superior Reactive Fire. You'd me mad to walk across its path.
Thanks for posting, the site drops pics rather than shrinking them, pics need to be no wider than 640 pixels to view properly, you can see all the pic if you hit the quote button.
The Phaser is a pretty poor weapon all things considered, short range and will on average only cause 3 hits every 3 turns, I can't see it lasting 3 turns. It's no better than a guy with a bazooka! If not adequately protected the Panzer Killers will make short work of it. Will be interesting to see how often it gets chosen for my opponents army, I suspect his models will be used in the Wildfire configuration even if his army is lacking in long range AT weapons.
The quad .50 is not that great either. Reaction fire will only generate 2-3 hits, not enough to take down the Panzer Killers (yes, anti-light walker is now their role) poping out behined a wall, who only need 1 hit with their Panzerschreck to take it down.
So, who's got the Axis cards for us poor European's to look at?

even with the odds i might take one Honey now and then as an artillery hunter.
Could you post close ups of the Allied walker and the heroes in the See Lowe set? And a close up of the building tiles?
Thanks.
Seelowe also comes with three smoke tiles with a smoke canister in the center. But, I don't think I read anywhere that these are used. You also receive a double length tile that has crates on one side and looks like broken machinery on the other side.
Recieved my Honey/Wildfire mech and Ses Lowe camapign boxes yesterday and was blown away by how good they look. The complete mech body with both weapon heads was awsome but I was disapponted not to get both riders. I wonder how the other rider will be made avalible?

Just to clarify, are you daying that the Light Walker comes with both walkers complete? You can use them both at the same time, with only the pilot missing from one?
No, you only get one walker per box, but it comes with attachments for both weapons.
Surprised that the Axis light walkers don't also have Fast. Ok, they don't look as nimble as their allied counterparts, but I would expect a light walker to be faster on its feet than a medium walker... With range 6 and 1/3 against armor 4 tanks, the Laser Weaoibns is not a LOT better than a Laser Werfer, but I guess you have to be careful with lasers, otherwise they break the game.
Sure the Axis Lights do not look a light as the Allied, but they are a lot more protected, I just don't get half the cards FFg come up with. Where is their Scout ability as suggested in the blurb?
Isn't that from the Revised Core Set walkers?
Sigh.... Seelowe and light walkers are still not available in my country yet.....
If you want the cards go on Dust-Models.com click the tactics deluxe and click on any of the walkers they have the card there.
Yea I thought the new Laser Cannon walker is lame why would I want to take that when I can take a unit of guys for almost the same cost and does more damage.
I like the phasers though they seem really interesting.
I finally picked up mine today. Here's my out of the box observations:
1. The right side of my Hermann/Heinrich legs were missed in the priming process, and are bare plastic. Not a big deal as I'm going to paint them, but that might have been a real pain for someone who wasn't.
2. The US light walker model is very cool, but feels very fragile. Especially the joint between the feet/legs and the quad .50s. This is the first model that I've felt very nervous putting on the table.
3. Ozz is cool, but as others have said, too sci-fi, not enough pulp.
4. I really like the building tile breakdown. A very efficient use of the tiles to create some interesting building layouts.
Overall. I'm pretty happy so far.

Pardon me Major, but how is the Axis Light Walker better protected than an Allied one? There is no difference. The Axis Light Walkers are missing the FAST ability for certain. Otherwise, the Allied Walkers are so much better.
Overall the weapons on the Axis Walkers are better. On the Heinrich the 2cm Flakvierling has a range of U while the Wildfires Quad 50 only has range 6 with both having the same damage. In general while not as potentially strong the Hermann will be more predictable in its damage vs. the Honey. Both of them are at range 6.
