New Heroes?

By Aldarion2, in Dust Tactics

I´ve noticed 4 new heroes are mentioned at page 14 of Op. Seelowe under new AP system.

Totenmesiter, Grenadier X, The Priest, and Action Jackson.

Apart from the lame name of the last one, does anyone have any clue about this?

Grenadier X might be the Zombie with the Chainsaw and Totenmeister might be the girl that can control the zombies. Not sure though...

I agree on the totenmeister, since it shows up in the comic and sourcebook, but I wonder when are they going to release it and in wich context.

I personally wouldn´t call Grenadier X a Zombie hero, but DT is not a character-name strong universe, so who knows? At east there´s the picture of teh Zombie with the chainsaw (he also appears in teh comic book as the sample untertoten).

It´s strange they show on Op. Seelowe though...the list is suppose to give new values for already published minis...

My guess is "The Priest" is the secret agent Joe met in Dust Wars Comic #3. The one that gave Joe the plans for making a walker.

Yep that fits - Australian Special Force operative sent to investigate Gunther mecha Assembly Plant.

The Priest is the spy character from the Dust Wars comics. The model can be seen in the Dust Tactics video from the Monde de Jeu show here

As for Grenadier X Im not sure if that is the zombie with the chainsaw. If i is he definantly an expensive zombie up there in points with Ozz and Marcus.

That shouldn't be a problem, after all the Zombie units are 50% more than most regular units, and as the pic is in the rulebook and is a character in the comic, it makes sense.

"Action Jackson" is right up there with "Dirk Diggler". I will refrain from making any special ability jokes.

Still the mistery remains as to why they show up on the list if they haven´t been published yet...

Because they are good like that. Seelowe is not available yet - but the rules are up for download. They are also in the book for completeness if they are being released with Seelow releases and its a teaser to get us talking about the game - now all they have to do to become the perfect company is to answer the frigging emails.
