Hello Everybody,

i have recently came into contact with game of thrones or a song of ice and fire, im a great fan of sean beans acting so that was also a big
deal for me to start watching te tv show (and i like it alot) iv heard a lot of good things about the books and im starting them very soon.

now im also a fan of board/card games i have played pokemon for a little while and after that i played lord of the rings from decipher
i realy loved that game and still do by far the best ccg i have ever played to bad it died. and after that i started World of Warcraft the
tcg cause i have been a fan of the MMO game aswell and that is also an awesome card game with alot of fun.

then i read of the a game of thrones lcg and got interested and i started looking at local game shops all over the place but it was nowhere to
be found and from what i heard from the ordering was gonna be hard cause it was out of print. but thankfully we have the interwebz and boom i
found an internetshop that still had 1 core set available i quickly ordered it and the next day it got delivered already jeej. i opened up
the decks gave the cards a look sleeved them ofc and whent online to see how to play. being familliar with tcg's it wassnt that difficult.

the only problem i have is i have no one to play with, a friend of me would like to play it but we would be sharing my cads he is likely
not gonna buy core sets or expansions so that takes a bit of the fun away i think.

and thats also why im making a post here hoping to find someone.

some games with me and maybe teach me some more how to play this seemingly awesome game.

so you played LOTR (decipher) and LOTR LCG, and you like both? then you really should look into the good old Middle Earth CCG (ICE), which is still my favorite cardgame (sorry AGOT ;-)

Have you thought about giving online play a try? Check out the OCTGN thread if you're interested.

On cardgamedb.com there is a member map for LCG players.

Have you tried boardgamegeek.com? You can search a lot of content related to a game there, e.g. players giving the game a good rating. Try this link: javascript:void(0);/*1308635224011*/ you will find a player from the Netherlands there and then go on and scan the following pages :-)
