How big are Dust Tactics Armies supposed to be?

After I painted the starter set I bought some more and have this much:

How big are armies? Should I paint them as one coherent force or smaller armies? I want to paint Fallschrimjager Camo Germans and Pacific Camo US marines... Any ideas? All same scheme or multiple armies for each faction?

our group is figuring 250-300 points on the new scale will be our normal casual game. i think i own about 450 in allies so far by the new points scale.

What you have there is about the right amount for 1 army per side, although you will probably be adding new models as they are released so could have 2 smaller ones which will grow.

Nice size armies! You might want to wait on the Falschirmjager and Marine schemes, because I suspect Racketten Trupen (rocket troops) will look like Falschirmjager with jetpacks and there is a picture of a Marine in the comic book. Ruskies and Vril should be next, but eventually I hope to see British, Japanese, Chinese and Marines as add ons to their respective sides!

Nice collection.

Im pushing over 200 American and 200 German minis and 10 vehicles for each side as well.

I did a spread sheet on how much I spent so far, not a good idea. And that doesnt include the money spent on terrain.

BUT I am not complaining......keep releasing!!!!
