Having just read the seelowe background got me thinking. Its 1947 in the dust-verse, and apparently no one has managed to make an a-bomb still.

Have they mentioned the manhatten project somewhere else and i missed it? Not that I want rules for nukes added to the game but just an explanation like a secret mission to take out oppenheimer or something to put my little nerdly mind to rest.

The manhatten project was abandonned in this universe. They were in developmental stages of it in 1942 and when the Nazi's found the alien spacecraft and gave up on their nuke development the US did the same and scrapped it to steal the tech for the robots. Otherwise if they did have a nuke I'm pretty sure they woulda used it to win b/c there isn't a unit out that would be able to withstand a nuke.

This is why this game held plausibility.
