In building a deck you can have up to 3 of one card, correct?

If so then do I have to buy 3 of a chapter pack to get 3 of some cards? I ask because I bought a chapter pack just because and I noticed that some of the cards only had 1 copy and others had 3. Seems kinda unfair from a tournament perspective because those that spend more money get 3 copies. I kinda thought the LCG format would require less money than a ccg.

Well, you only need to buy 3 to get the playset, instead of hunting though trades, rare binders, etc. and never getting the playset. You still end up spending a lot less time and money on "collecting."

Plus, the "1x 10, 3x 10" format of the chapter packs ended as of the "Brotherhood without Banners" cycle. All chapter packs going forward will be "3x 20" cards.
