New player's question [Please HELP]

By ktei2008, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Hi, kind experienced players:

I notice that on the card 'Posioned Wine', it says something about "any phase: kneel 1 influence to move it to another character". So my question is: if I attach this card to one of my opponent's characters, and he happens to have influence providing cards, does this mean he can also kneel his influence to move this card to any of his characters or even mine?

Also, question 2: if we both reveal a plot on which there is "When revealed" effect, whose effect should be resolved first?

Thank you for your help!

1) No, he can't, because he doesn't control Poisoned Wine. You can only trigger effects on cards you control. Just because the card is attached to his character doesn't mean your opponent took control of it. You still control it, and only you decide if, and when, you trigger the action.

2) The first player decides which is resolved first.

Haha, man, I know you. Last time it was you that helped me a lot! Also this time you helped again. You're very kind. Thank you very much!

You're very welcome.

So, how's it going with your wife's pesky Targaryens? Are you beating them more regularly now?

I'm not afraid of her Targaryens anymore. Also, I found myself using Lannister very well... If I use Lannister, she won't be able to win me mostly.

However, recently she's been starting to use Martell and I begin to try on Stark, and the result is: I eventually can feel what she is feeling when I use Martell to beat her Targaryens, very very angry... Martell has many abilities to make your opponent mad... I remember last time I tried to use Robb to kill her important character and I tried twice, but she just used that **** card He Calls It Thinking to cancel my Robb's response and saved her character twice... Haha, anyway, I think I've already ordered Lords of Winter online and I'll use new Stark characters to see how it goes against Martell.
